Basic Pistol,
Concealed Carry,
&
Basic Personal Protection

All classes will be held in South Western Ohio.

These courses are offered to anyone interested in learning more about handgun safety, improving basic skills, and personal protection. The Basic Pistol Course will also fulfill the training requirements
when applying for an Ohio, Kentucky, or Florida Concealed Carry Permit.

Pistol & Concealed Carry Course will cover:
Parts and Operation.
Ammunition Types and Storage
Safe Operation and Use.
Shooting Fundamentals and Positions.
Improving and Maintaining Shooting Skills.
Cleaning, Storage, and Transportation.
Live Firing on Range.

Personal Protection course will cover:
Pistol Parts and Operation.
Ammunition Types and Storage
Safe Operation and Use.
Shooting Fundamentals and Positions.
Improving and Maintaining Shooting Skills.
Avoiding Criminal Attack.
Controlling a Violent Confrontation.
† Firearms and the Law.
Live Firing on Range.

Required Items:
Appropriate Text Book. (Furnished)
Eye Protection. (Furnished)
Hearing Protection. (Furnished)
Hand Gun and 50 Rounds of the Appropriate Ammunition.
Small Caliber Recommended but any Caliber is Acceptable.
Factory Ammunition Only, NO Hand Loads!
If you do not have a firearm, please advise at time of registration so arrangements can be made prior to the start of the course.

Both Courses are Presented by NRA Certified Instructors with the assistance, if needed, of Approved Range Safety Officers.
† A Lawyer or a Police Officer will be on hand to explain Legal Aspects of Gun Ownership.

Endorsed  by: The National Rifle Association,  Ohio Rifle and Pistol Association and Butler County Sportsmen's Club.

This course covers the requirements for the State of Ohio's Concealed Carry License
